Description
Ambermax® is a synthetic ingredient used in perfumery for its potent amber note. It does not occur in nature and is designed specifically to bring stability and longevity to fragrances. It is particularly effective in fabric care products, where long-lasting scent is desired.
Ambermax® is often paired with other amber family molecules such as Ambroxan®, Kephalis®, and Amberketal® to build complex fragrance profiles. For better control over its strength, it can be diluted in Triethyl Citrate at a 10% concentration, maintaining its aromatic character while reducing its punch.
It displays exceptional synergy with Kephalis® at a 30/70 ratio, creating a note reminiscent of cistus labdanum, enriched with coniferous, earthy, and fruity nuances.

Ambermax® was created in 2005 as a modern alternative to natural ambergris, offering similar aromatic properties with greater stability and controlled production.
Combining it with Kephalis® creates a unique aroma reminiscent of cistus, with coniferous, earthy, and fruity facets, an olfactory profile that is difficult to achieve with natural ingredients alone.
It is widely used in fabric care products due to its exceptional longevity and stability, allowing garments to retain their scent for an extended period.
